This gift to the campus from the City of San Francisco sits on the main quad of the campus.

  1. Either San Fran has an inordinate amount of sculpture scattered around the city, or you spend an inordinate amount of time searching it out!! Nicely found!

  4. I never heard of this sculptor before your blog but I have discovered that I like his work. I have a fondness for St Francis too so this one is doubly good:)

  5. This probably isn’t politically correct, but I find the thing “cute.” Cuter still, hidden there in the leaves. St. Francis certainly has had a lot of various interpretations as to his outer appearance.
