This piece in Jessie alley off of 6th street is by Lango. It replaced his eagle that you can see here.
This series of murals is by Lango. Lango has been in this website many times, and I am a big fan of his work. You can more of his work here. This is a rough part of town, so I am not sure how or why this wall was chosen, but they are really just gorgeous.
Haight and Masonic

This spot recently held a mural by Lango. This colorful and powerful new mural is by Ricardo Richey, also known as Apex.
Ricardo is a street artist who creates colorful abstract patterns through the use of spray paint. Part of the gestalt collective that engages in collaborative murals in San Francisco his work can be found all over town.

There are murals everywhere in the Haight, these are just a few of the better ones.
Jimi Hendrix by an unknown artist. This mural is at 1524 Haight Street, the home of Jimi Hendrix when he lived in San Francisco. It is now Ashbury Tobacco Center.
This doll is on the Bettie Page Clothing Store at 1529 Haight. (Bettie Page was one of America’s great pin-up girls). This mural was painted by Amanda Lynn. Amanda studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and received a Bachelor’s of Fine Art with an Illustration major. After school, she worked independently and freelances on many mural productions and theater set paintings.
